UK KFA condemn Foreign Secretary's anti DPRK outburst

  The UK Korean Friendship Association(backed by the Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea Study Group of England ) issued the following statement condemning the remarks of  Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond concerning the H bomb test by the DPRK:
 UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond whilst on another taxpayer funded trip to Beijing chiming in with the shrill chorus of hypocrisy kicked off , claimed that the DPRK H bomb test "underlines the very real threat that North Korea represents to regional and international security."
  Nothing could be further from the truth . The DPRK government statement on the H bomb test on the 6th of January made it clear that "  The DPRK, a responsible nuclear weapons state, will neither be the first to use nuclear weapons nor transfer relevant means and technology under any circumstances as already declared as long as the hostile forces for aggression do not encroach upon its sovereignty."
   The only ones who threaten international security and peace are the US and those nations who follow it . Since the end of World War Two the US has intervened in over a 100 countries and being involved in dozens of wars. It has a huge network of military bases around the world threatening peace. The DPRK does not have a single military base in a foreign country nor  a single missile stationed on the soil of another country.
  What Hammond wilfully ignores is the fact that it is the US that has the largest number of nuclear weapons in the world, that it is the US that has carried out 1,000 nuclear tests and has twice used nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state ! It is the ultimate hypocrisy for Hammond to codemn the DPRK for the test of the H bomb when Britain itself has carried out nuclear tests including H bomb tests and the US has carried out many tests of the H bomb starting in 1952. It would appear to have escaped Mr Hammond's notice that the US currently has at least 7,200 nuclear warheads , a 1000 of which are deployed in south Korea!.
 The DPRK's H bomb test  was a just exercise of its sovereignty . It was a legitmate response, a self defense to the increasing US hostility which includes sanctions and UN resolutions .
    Hammond needs to realise that the DPRK, a proud sovereign state and independent power of Juche , will not be bullied by anyone lest of all British imperialism !.
   Britain must develop genuinely friendly and co-operative relations with the DPRK based on independence  and mutual benefit. There must a genuine  break of past reactionary policies towards the DPRK not their continuation by different means.
    UK KFA demands that the UK stops supporting the US and respects the independence and sovereignty of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , the only legitmate state on the Korean peninsula.
