Apparently there was a story about the DPRK having a 100,000 CCTV
cameras(of course the UK has over 1.5 million of the things). Let me
tell you that I HAVE NEVER SEEN a single CCTV camera on the streets of
Pyongyang or anywhere else that I have been in the DPRK during any of my
10 visits . I can only assume that if indeed such a number of CCTV
cameras does exist then they would be found at high security
establishments and deployed in the DMZ as per the Korean Armistice
Agreement
