ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA denounce Japanese reactionaries suppression of CHONGRYON

          The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement denouncing the contuined repression of the General Association of Korean Residents in  Japan(CHONGRYON)  by the reactionary and fascistic Japanese authorities:

On the 6th of September The Hokkaido police authorities of Japan  hurled tens of thuggish police into operations to search Korean primary, middle and high school in Hokkaido, the Hokkaido Headquarters of CHONGRYON  and institutions related to it in the Headquarters Hall.
 They have levelled false and malicious charges  against CHONGRYON  in a wild bid to tarnish its reputation and suppress it . Basically what the Japanese authorities are doing is state terrorism . The Japanese authorities stand guilty of both state terrorism as well as racism towards non Japanese minorities living within Japan . Japan is one of the biggest racist states in history who make the British far right look like the proverbial vicars' tea party. CHONGRYON as a dignified organisation of overseas Korean compatriots  has the right to exist , moreover CHONGRYON is the guardian of the rights of ethnic Koreans in Japan. An attack on CHONGRYON is an attack on their rights, a grave violation of human rights for which Japan should be made to answer for .
The ongoing repression of CHONGRYON goes to show that Japan is moving towards fascism and is becoming more racist and intolerant .

We demand the the repression of CHONGRYON is halted at once and the charges withdrawn .
