CPRK Blasts S. Korean Chief Executive's Anti-DPRK Remarks

Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) in a statement Sunday said that Park Geun Hye of south Korea had better stop making ill outpourings and take care of the domestic affairs on the brink of ruin.
Park termed the DPRK's nuclear and long-range rocket development and the test of SLBM "threats" and urged it to "dismantle its nuclear program" when addressing a ceremony Saturday.
Branding this as another intolerable grave provocation against the DPRK, the spokesman goes on:
The denial of the DPRK's line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force and its step for bolstering up capabilities for self-defence is precisely the denial of the social system in the DPRK and an insult to its dignity and sovereignty.
By speaking ill of them, Park fully revealed again her design to stand in confrontation with the DPRK to the last and realize the ambition for "unification through absorption" with the support from the U.S.
If Park is truly interested in "peaceful unification" and "dialogue" as much touted by her recently, she should have said she admits and would implement the north-south joint declarations on which the authorities of the north and the south agreed.
The joint declarations clarify the most reasonable orientation and aboveboard way of ensuring peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and achieving national reconciliation, unity, co-prosperity and reunification.
No matter how loudly Park may trumpet about "dialogue" and "peaceful unification" while denying the joint declarations and standing in the way of their implementation, no one will lend an ear to them.
The Park group can never evade the responsibility for bedeviling the north-south relations and pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula to the worst catastrophe. -0-
