ASSPUK,JISGE AND UK KFA CONDEMN ACTION OF MEXICAN AUTHORITIES AGAINST THE DPRK

The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England (JISGE) and UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) issued the following joint statement on the issue of the illegal detention of the DPRK trading ship the Mu Du Bong;


 The Mu Du Bong is a peaceful , civilian trading vessel of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport of the Democratic People's Republic . It ran aground off Mexico in July 2014 and has been held without reason by the Mexican authorities since then. The DPRK even compensated Mexico for any damage done by the ship when it ran aground but the Mexican authorities still hold the ship.


The detention of Mu Du Bong is a rampant violation of the dignified sovereignty of the DPRK! It is regrettable that Mexico is acting under the baton of the US imperialists and joining hands with them in the malicious vendetta of US imperialism. We cannot help but wondering whether Mexico is
another puppet state of US imperialism? . Such actions of the Mexican authorities do not help the
image of Mexico in the eyes of the world's progressive independence loving people.

We urge that the Mexican authorities release the ship and its crew at once .
