DPRK Para Ensemble shows true dignity and superiority of the Juche-based socialist system of Korean style !

I was very fortunate to be able to attend the excellent performances given by the DPRK Para Ensemble in the City of Oxford and at the Royal College of Music. Those attending were treated to a one hour and half long performance which included not only traditional Korean music but also some popular Western pieces such as the Phantom of the Opera . The performance concluded with a spirited Kayagum version of the famous Korean song "Aririang " . The DPRK peformers were assisted by London based Korean resident Prof Kim So Ock of the Royal Academy of Music .
Particularly impressive was the performance of the blind kayagum(traditional Korean instrument ) Kim Myong Suk . It was also delightful to watch a group of deaf children perform Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Although the tunes were taken from the old film, with" Heigh Ho , Heigh Ho its off to work we go " sung in Korean you had a Korean style Snow White , a young lady dressed as a Korean fairy rather than a copy of the Western version, a bit of Juche-orientation ! . There was also a lovely rendition, in Korean and English of "You Raised Me Up ," by Jang Mi Yon .
The performance shows that disabled people are treated well in the DPRK and are provided with all rights , The disabled in the DPRK are living independent and creative lives with full living conditions provided by the socialist system. It showed that the rubbish about the disabled mouthed by so-called "defectors ", human scum , and repeated an nauseum by the imperialist media is pure nonsense and lies and should be rejected by any right thinking person.
One could see not only skill and creativity but dignity shining throw . I think the approach of the DPRK contrasts greatly with a certain trendy actress in the UK who tries to make comedy out of cerebral palsy.
All in all a great night out and a demonstration of the superiority of the Juche-based socialist system of Korean style !
