Korea with true independence from big powers !

The other day I was having a fascinating talk with a DPRK diplomat about Korean history . Before Korea lost what independence it had to Japan in the 1900s , Korea was ruled by the Ri Dynasty which was very servile to big powers. The Royal Palace used to be guarded by Chinese troops if the pro China faction was in the ascendant , Russian troops if the pro Russian faction held sway , Japanese troops if the pro Japan faction was in control etc. When Korea was a colony of Japan Korean people had to change their names to Japanese names and the Korean royal family was sterilised by the Japanese so there would be no descendants to continue the lineage. Before Japanese rule of Korea , the Chinese used to decide who could succeed as King of Korea . Now thanks to the Juche Idea , Juche Korea is totally independent. The only troops on the streets of Pyongyang are Korean ones, soldiers of the KPA . Korean people can speak Korean and have Korean names. Korea is now the master of its own fate and not outside forces, not big powers !
