KCNA Issues Report to Commemorate 3rd Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Demise

    The report deals with the facts that his revolutionary career and undying feats have been glorified as an eternal treasure of the nation.
    The report says:
    Marshal Kim Jong Un wisely led the work to glorify the revolutionary idea and feats of Kim Jong Il forever, reflecting the revolutionary faith and will and ardent desire of the service personnel and people of the DPRK.
    Over the last three years he published a great many famous works, thus indicating the way of accomplishing the cause of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
    The 4th Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 5th Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly decided to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the eternal general secretary of the WPK and the eternal chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and the meetings also declared it as the supreme programme of the Party to model the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
    The Kumsusan Palace of the Sun was remodeled as a grand monument to the immortality of the leaders and his statues and the portraits of smiling Kim Jong Il were erected on Mansu Hill and in different parts of the country.
    Kim Jong Un has remarkably cemented the single-minded unity left by Kim Jong Il as the most precious revolutionary legacy.
    The organizational and ideological foundation of the party was firmly consolidated, the importance of the ideological work reaffirmed and reconfirmed and a landmark provided for an epochal turn in the ideological work with the Fourth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the WPK and the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK as momentums.
    The slogan of "Everything for the people and everything by relying on them!" has become the basic cornerstone of the activities of the WPK.
    The love for the people has grown stronger as Kim Jong Un visited various parts of the country for field guidance hundreds of times.
