                  The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea Study Group of England today issued the following joint statement on the 3rd  anniversary of the appointment of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as the Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army.
                                        The post of Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army carries a high responsibility not just to the Korean people but the world people who aspire after independence and socialism as it is the might of the KPA commanded by the dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN that is defending socialism in the world and the anti-imperialist independence forces.
               The appointment of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as Supreme Commander of the KPA by the Political Bureau of the WPK on the 30th of December 2011 was a deep manifestation of the trust and support of the WPK members and entire Korean people for dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN. It also reflected the desire and will of the Korean people to follow the road of independence, Songun and socialism forever and continue with the Songun revolutionary leadership come what may and without deviation or concession.
Supreme Commander Marshal KIM JONG UN visited the historic Seoul Ryu Kyong Su no 105 tank division of the Korean People's Army on the 1st of January 2012, this is the unit where the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il began his Songun revolutionary leadership (and is also the first tank unit to go into Seoul during the liberation of south Korea during the last Korean war).

The DPRK stands on the front-line between socialism and imperialism .  Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as KPA supreme commander visited  the most tense flash-points   not once but  several times . He has tirelessly given on the spot-guidance to the KPA
   During the tense period of March 2013 when the US imperialist moves to stifle the DPRK ran to the extreme    Supreme commander Marshal KIM JONG UN delivered  hammer-blows to the  US imperialists and international reactionaries by conducting the third DPRK nuclear test . When the US imperialist military pressure on the DPRK reached extremes he countered it by putting the KPA rocket forces on standby ready to strike hard at the Yankee imperialists. During the past year the
respected Marshal KIM JONG UN in defiance of the US imperialists and big power gave guidance to rocket units of the KPA


   As a result of the assumption of the position of Supreme commander of the Korean People's Army by the dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN the continuity of the Songun revolutionary leadership has been  maintained. The  KPA has been built up as an even more powerful revolutionary armed force. Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is following in the footsteps of the great generalissimo’s of Mt Paektu KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL ,  he is an iron-willed brilliant commander of Songun ready to wipe out the US imperialists, the sworn enemy of Korean people and their south Korea puppets at one go and reunify the country.
