U.S. Should Halt Human Rights Abuses at Home: Rodong Sinmun

  Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- Young black man Myers was mercilessly killed by at least ten bullets fired by a white policeman in St. Louis, Missouri State of the U.S. on Oct. 8.
    Some days ago another young black man was shot to death by a white policeman in Ferguson City of the same state. The police ruthlessly suppressed the protestors against the police crackdown, leveling guns and using tear gas and smoke shells.
    Rodong Sinmun Thursday observes in a commentary in this regard: This clearly proves that the U.S. is the worst human rights abuser as its people are subject to maltreatment and contempt owing to their different race and always seized with fear of when they will be shot to death.
    What is ridiculous is that the U.S. is apt to kick off a "human rights" racket against other countries in the international arena and put pressure upon them by politicizing "human rights issue," building public opinion on it and internationalizing it.
    The U.S. is behaving recklessly in the international arena recently, persistently hyping the DPRK's non-existent "human rights" issue.
    It is the height of daydream for the U.S. to stifle the DPRK through a "human rights" offensive.
    The U.S. would be well advised to put under control the human rights abuses at home, to begin with, before sustaining a bitter setback in its operations to interfere in internal affairs of other countries under the pretext of non-existent "human rights" issues.
    Doing so would be the only way for the U.S. to save its face in the international arena. -0-
