Independence and Dependence

The DPRK is one of the few countries in the world that does not have branches of imperialist monopoly capitalist banks , such as HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest, Citibank etc , located on its territory . Indeed at present Pyongyang does not have any foreign banks. In contrast south Korea has at least 34 foreign banks. This fact alone illustrates the independent self-reliant nature of the DPRK and the dependency of south Korea.
