KCNA Commentary on U.S. Ulterior Aims in Developing WMDs

Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- There occurred a serious accident at the Kodiak launching complex in Alaska, U.S. on August 25.
It was a failure in the test-fire of an ultrasound missile which the U.S. claimed it developed to mount a precision strike at any place of the world within one hour.
Four seconds after its launch the missile exploded, engulfing all installations in the complex in flames.
It was a natural outcome as the U.S. has gone mad with arms buildup defying the worldwide protest and denunciation.
A saying goes every sin brings its punishment with it.
Behind the curtain of "disarmament", the U.S. has stepped up the development of all types of WMDs.
It is working hard to make the public convince that its disarmament is aimed at peace in a bid to let other big powers slacken their vigilance and, at the same time, step up the development of new type sophisticated weapons with huge financial investment.
Among them are ultrasound missile that caused the recent disaster, flying submarine and 2g micro projectile.
The U.S. is massively building new type warships while accelerating the modernization of nuclear weapons.
This year it conducted the test of verifying the launching capacity of portable anti-tank missile Javelin, the test-fire of laser-guided rocket Talon, the test of Aegis combat system of destroyer and missile interception test, thus further increasing than ever before the capability to fight a war.
Lurking behind such arms buildup of the U.S. is its sinister ambition to dominate the world by holding a military edge.
It is the U.S. invariable hegemonic scenario to militarily prevail over other big powers in Asia-Pacific.
It is clearly proved by the remarks of officials concerned of the U.S. Defense Department that the development of the ultrasound missile is to cope with China's rapid development of ultrasound weapons.
Lots of countries, big powers in particular, are channeling big efforts into increasing military capacity to cope with the U.S. moves for boosting the capability for fighting a war.
Earlier this year, China conducted the test-fire of ultrasound missile whose maximum speed is 10 times that of sound. Russia
