S. Korea's Decision to Set up UN "Office for Human Rights in North" in Seoul Blasted

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- The spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in a statement Monday denounced the south Korean authorities for making a decision to set up in south Korea a UN "office for human rights in the north" and officially notifying the UN of the decision, defying the strong warning of the DPRK and public denunciation at home and abroad.
    The statement said:
    When meeting the former chairman of the UN "committee for investigation into human rights in the north" during his recent visit to south Korea, Park Geun Hye blustered an "epochal and fresh occasion is provided for investigating the human rights performance in the north" and that "she would let the citizens in the south and the north know about the human rights record in the north."
    The Park group is driven into the worst ruling crisis due to the huge Sewol sinking disaster. Yet, it staged the farce of setting up the "office" and let loose reckless remarks after inviting the main player for it to south Korea. This proves that its human rights din against the DPRK has reached a reckless phase.
    The UN "office for human rights in the north" is an anti-DPRK plot-breeding organization aimed at launching aggression and bringing down the social system in the DPRK, pursuant to the "report on human rights in the north" and the "resolution on human rights in the north" peppered with sheer lies that were cooked up by the U.S. and its allies.
    As the public at home and abroad became more vocal denouncing and expressing concern about the establishment of the "office" in south Korea, the puppet forces made excuses that the "office" was not sponsored by them but was set up at the request of the UN.
    It was none other than the Park group which played a key role in sponsoring the UN "office for human rights in the north" and setting it up in south Korea.
    We have already strongly warned that the establishment of the "office" in south Korea is a hideous politically-motivated provocation insulting and mocking at the dignity of the DPRK and its people, a serious hostile act of denying and challenging the social system in it and a declaration of the confrontation of the social systems.
    However, the Park group finally decided to set up the "office" in south Korea. So, we will strongly react against it.
    Needless to say, the "office" and its staff are not excepted from being targets of this action. -0-
