Public Spending in the DPRK Increases !
During the financial year 2013-2014 public spending in the DPRK
increased by 5.6 % compared to the previous year . Some 38.8% of this
was spent on education, healthcare, sports and music and arts. In the
year 2014-2015 public spending will increase by 6.5% with increases of
5.6% for education, 2.2% for education and 1.4% for social insurance .
No talk of spending cuts or austerity !
