On the 19th of February the Republic of Botswana announced it was "severing all ties " with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Apparently the reason the authorities in Botswana gave for this was was the so-called "Commission of Inquiry's report on the DPRK . It goes without saying that this report is a false one which is based on faked up information (http://juche007-anglo-peopleskoreafriendship.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/asspuk-jisge-and-uk-kfa-denouce.html).
Rather than any concern for human rights the reason behind Botswana's severance of diplomatic relations is to its US imperialist masters . Botswana is
a neo-colonial country pursuing right wing pro market policies. Botswana is regarded by many progressive African peoples is a stooge of imperialism and there have been rumours of US bases in Botswana.
Probably the reactionary authorities in Botswana in trying to please their imperialist bosses have jumped the gun as no other country has severed ties with the DPRK and in fact the DPRK has good relations with most African countries .
