Message of Sympathy to South African President

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Friday sent a message of sympathy to South African President Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma in connection with the fact that Nelson Mandela, son produced by the South African people, died of long illness.
The message expressed profound condolences to the president and, through him, to the South African government and people and family members of the deceased.
The message said that the feats performed by Nelson Mandela in the struggle against racism and for democracy in South Africa would always be remembered by the South African people and progressive mankind.
It hoped that the South African government and people would register successes in their efforts to build a new, prosperous society as desired by the deceased under the leadership of the president. -0-
