Motherly Party Serving People

The Korean people intimately call the Workers’ Party of Korea a motherly party and follow and support it with sincerity.

Guiding the WPK victoriously for nearly half a century, leader Kim Jong Il made steadfast efforts to build the WPK founded by President Kim Il Sung as a motherly party.

Kim Jong Il said that to build the Party into a motherly party means to make it a genuine guide and guardian of people that takes a meticulous care of the masses of people with the responsibility for their destiny just as a mother looks after her children with an utmost loving care.

Pointing out that our Party should be a genuine motherly party that leads and cares for the people with the politics of love and trust and benevolent politics, he always iterated that he would work without sleeping at night all his life for our finest people in the world and he was more firmly determined to fully repay the people’s unswerving trust in the Party and their expectations.

He also noted that only when we love the people without calculation, can we do even one thing more for them and it was his arithmetic and the Party’s accounting method to think of no profitability first in any undertaking for people.

The respected Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK is carrying forward the noble idea of “The people are my God” of Kim Jong Il who devoted his all for people through his life.

Advancing the slogan “Everything for the people and everything by relying on them!”, Kim Jong Un noted that the slogan contains the Party’s will to fill the whole Party with love for and trust in the people.

He said it was the firm determination of the Party to respect the people and devote everything to them as we hold Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem and the embrace of the motherly Party cares more for sick and wounded children, gives them love and affection, cures their sour wounds, helps them up and puts them forward again, instead of blaming them.

He went on we should train all people to be strong in ideology and faith with great force produced by the motherly Party’s love and trust, thereby building rings of fortresses around the Party Central Committee.

Rallied firmly around the Workers’ Party of Korea headed by Marshal Kim Jong Un, the Korean people are advancing along the road of Juche and Songun, entrusting their destiny and future to the motherly Party.
