KCNA Commentary Slams S. Korean Conservative Forces for Hurting Dignity of DPRK Supreme Leadership

 Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- The ultra-right conservative forces of south Korea are moving to curb national reconciliation through hideous acts of slandering the dignity of the supreme leadership and social system of the DPRK.
    The conservative media and riff-raffs talked rubbish about the "highlighted meaning of popular leader", hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK. They even became vocal about "punishment", an act of pointing the finger at the sky.
    This is a base act of hooligans bereft of elementary political idea and a hideous crime aimed to play a game of chance to escalate confrontation with the fellow countrymen even by staking the fate of the nation.
    However precious the north-south ties are, they can never be compared with the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK which guarantees the destiny of the nation and the future of posterity.
    The unified progress and prosperity of the nation including the improvement of the north-south ties, in particular, would be unthinkable apart from the dignity of the supreme leadership.
    But the paid writers did hurt the dignity and rattled the nerve of the nation, a perfidious act of going against the nation.
    The south Korean conservative forces' act of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK is getting all the more serious against the desire of the nation for mending the north-south ties.
    It is none other than the south Korean puppet forces who staged large-scale anti-DPRK war exercises in collusion with outsiders and opened to public the plan for mounting precision strikes at monuments to the immortality of the leaders symbolic of the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK built in Pyongyang and other cities of the country.
    Openly finding fault with the social system, economy and people's livelihood, they blustered that "the DPRK will get nothing from nuclear development and provocations" and "nothing can be expected unless it drops its nuclear ambition".
    The conservative media have systematically insulted the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK by mobilizing all possible means and methods, being unaware of what were uttered by them.
    The north-south ties that progressed with dynamism again faced serious situation and deteriorated. The reason for this is that traitors including the right-wing conservative forces of south Korea have resorted to despicable and sordid anti-DPRK smear campaign.
    Explicitly speaking, provocations against the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK is the most serious challenge to the party, state and people of the DPRK and the act of worst treachery which can make a mess of the future of the fellow countrymen.
    The dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK represents the life and soul of the nation.
    The more desperately the puppet forces of south Korea may try to tarnish the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, the deeper they will fall into a bottomless abyss.
    Nothing can ever be allowed to tarnish the dignity of the sun. -0-
