The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea Study Group of England issued the following joint statement on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the award of the title of Marshal to dear respected comrade Kim Jong Un which falls on the 18th of July;
The award of the title of Marshal of DPRK ,the top military post of the DPRK fully reflected the support and confidence in dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un. It was a full recognition of his leadership abilities and brilliant commanding art.
Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has proved his great military abilities during the past few months in the bitter face-off between the DPRK and US imperialism which so arrogantly boasts of being the sole superpower in the world . Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un declared all out action against US imperialism the sworn enemy of the Korean people. When the US threatened the DPRK with vast military forces and nuclear bombers in March this year after imposing gangster like sanctions , dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un was steadfast and announced that if attacked the DPRK would strike back at US targets including the US mainland. This saw off the US imperialists and stoutly defended the dignity of Korean-style socialism and the independence of the DPRK.
Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is an , invincible and iron-willed commander who follows in the footsteps of the great generalissimo's Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
Our organisations are fully convinced that under the wise leadership of dear
respected Marshal Kim Jong Un the Korean people will win final victory in the Songun revolutionary cause and achieve national reunification.
