The statement is as follows;
We are deeply impressed by this Appeal made by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea , First Chairman ofthe National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army. This appeal fully encapsulates the idea of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un that the Korean people should not have to tighten their belts again and should fully enjoy all the benefits of socialism.
By constructing a world-class ski resort which will be one of the biggest in Asia the DPRK is ensure that people's needs for leisure and recreation will be fully met in grand style . Korean style socialism of Juche will go far beyond simply meeting the basic needs of people but will provide them with happiness in all aspects of life .As dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un says
" We should never fail to build the world-class ski resort within this year so that laughter of people living in socialist system and their cheers for the Workers’ Party would reverberate in the area of Masik Pass.

"Let the working class, agricultural workers, intellectuals and other people of the country become death-defying fighters and performers of labour feats in the general advance of this significant year, holding fast to the Party’s line of simultaneously carrying out the economic construction and the upbuilding of the nuclear forces and emulating the fighting spirit of the soldier-builders of Masik Pass.
Flames of innovation should be raised in the development of agriculture and light industry, the major thrust areas in this year’s economic construction, and all other fields of the national economy, and thus the overall economy of the country should be further revitalized."
Thus the construction of the Masik ski resort by the soldier builders of the KPA will become the centre and inspiration for a new speed campaign to construct socialism. Great miracles will be achieved in the spirit of "At One Breath". Inspired by the Appeal of the dear respected leader Marshal Kim Jong Un the Korean people will self-reliantly speed up the construction of socialism and win greater victories on the front of socialist construction.
