ASSPUK , JISGE and UK KFA denounce US-south Korean naval exercises against the DPRK

The ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA issued the following joint statement concerning the holding of naval exercises by the US imperialists and their south Korean puppets in the West Sea of Korea and also in support of the report issued by the South West Command of the Korean People's Army ;

Our organisations are incensed to learn that the US imperialists and their south Korean puppets  have started shelling drills targeted against the areas of the north side from the waters off Paekryong and Yonphyong islands in the West Sea of Korea from May 5. This follows on from "Key Resolve " and "Foal Eagle " staged in March and April which brought the Korean peninsula close to the abyss of nuclear war.
                                           Not content with starting such provocative exercises so soon after a period of intense confrontation and holding the exercises in an area where armed clashes have occurred in the past , the US imperialists and the south Korean puppets plan to bring the USS Nimitz a 100, 000 ton nuclear powered  aircraft carrier which is part of a strike group. This is an unpardonable provocation and challenge to the DPRK.
                                          These exercises are part of an ongoing campaign of big power bullying and intimidation of the DPRK by the US imperialists . However the  DPRK under the Songun revolutionary leadership of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un the DPRK is unbowed and undeterred by these kind of threats . The DPRK is not the Korea of 100 years but Songun Korea with its own massive self-defence capablity.
                                              We , the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK , demand that these exercises are halted at once. If the US cares one fig for peace in Korea and Asia they will straight away cancel these exercises.
                                                          We fully support the militant anti-imperialist stance of the DPRK as clarified in the report of the South Western sector command of the Korean People's Army . The KPA under the command of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un will strike back if attacked and defeat the US imperialist enemy .
