Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- A trial of Pae Jun Ho, an American citizen, took place held at the Supreme Court of the DPRK on April 30. He was arrested while committing hostile acts against the DPRK after entering Rason City as a tourist on Nov. 3 last year.
The Supreme Court sentenced him to 15 years of compulsory labor for this crime. -0-

Comment of ASSPUK , JISGE and UK KFA

The US citizen has been sentenced to 15 years labour rather than being executed as the imperialist media were predicting. Thus the DPRK have shown a lenient and humane approach. The sentence on Pae is in contrast to the 34 year long imprisonment of Ri In Mo in south Korea . The  DPRK has acted in a firm but fair way. The life of the US citizen has been spared but his sentence is longer than the maximum of 12 years in order to reflect the serious crime he committed against the socialist system of the DPRK. DPRK justice is people's justice !
