The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea Study Group of England issued the following statement on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of the great leader President Kim Il Sung;
It is 101 years since the great leader President Kim Il Sung , the sun of Juche was born . We are now greeting the first year of the second Juche century . Our delegations last year witnessed the magnificent celebrations of the centenary of the birth of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung. We saw very clearly the unity of the people around the Juche Idea and the Songun idea and the leadership of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
The great leader comrade Kim Il Sung was born into the family of a poor peasant but rose to become a great leader of the people and a world statesman of great renown. He not only liberated Korea from the shackles of Japanese imperialism but turned the country into a formidable power, a socialist power of Juche , which confronted and humbled US imperialism the chieftain of world imperialism and ringleader of international reaction.
The great leader President Kim Il Sung authored the Juche idea , the idea that the popular masses are the masters of everything. It is underpinned by the idea of independence and the idea of self-reliance and self-defence. All the lines and policies of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were and are deeply permeated with the idea of independence. The great leader President Kim Il Sung built a new independent Korea on the ruins of Japanese colonialism , he built a new Juche Korea not only free from the domination of imperialism but free from the interference and pressure of big powers .
By putting forward the line of armed struggle in the 1930 the great leader President Kim Il Sung created the basis of the Songun idea and Songun politics. Today the Songun idea is the cutting edge of the anti-imperialist struggle for independence.
The great leader President Kim Il Sung was the benevolent father of the people who built a socialist state where the masses are the masters of everything. He build a socialist paradise in which there is full employment , free medical care , free education, even free housing and no taxation.
The achievements of the great leader President Kim Il Sung are celebrated not only by the Korean people but the revolutionary peoples
throughout the world.
Today the legacy of the great leader President Kim Il Sung, which is precisely the DPRK, the Juche Idea and Korean-style ,people centred socialism , is resolutely defended and carried forward by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is leading the Korean people towards final and ultimate victory against US imperialism their sworn enemy .
We join with the Juche Idea and Songun idea followers throughout the whole world in saluting the 101th birth anniversary of the great leader President Kim Il Sung !
