London 6th of March Juche 102(2013)The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK , Juche Idea Study Group of England and the UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following statement in support of the statement made by the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army about important measures to be taken by it on the 5th of March 2013.
Our organisations recognising that owing to the extreme anti DPRK manouevres of the US imperialists , the south Korean puppets and some other hostile forces , the situation in and around the Korean peninsula has become more and more tense going from bad to worse fully support the statement of the KPA Supreme Command which outlines the measures to be taken by the Korean people to defend the supreme interests of the Korean nation including nullifying the Korean Armistice Agreement which as become a useless scrap of paper.
The US imperialists and their followers have tried to interfere in the independent right of the DPRK to launch space satellites. This is a negation of the DPRK's sovereignty which understandably the DPRK is not prepared to compromise over. It an outrageous exercise of double standards as the US and a number of other countries that approved of UNSC sanctions against the DPRK have launched satellites and pursue space programme. The US is also the biggest possesor of nuclear weapons and has many missiles , interconitiental , medium range and tactical missiles. The US has carried out over 1,000 nuclear tests so has no reason to take issue with the the DPRK's nuclear test. Although the US have encroached on Korean soil many times since the the 1860s no a single DPRK soldier has ever set foot on the soil of the US.
In the past years and months the US has intensified its anti -DPRK moves and has gone beyond the danger line. It has got the UNSC to adopt several sets of sanctions against the DPRK in a vain bid to strangle the economic development of the DPRK. It has repeatedly carried out war rehearsal exercises in south Korea which have now reached a crescendo with "Foal Eagle" and "Key Resolve". Because of their scale, scope, depth and duration these are not defensive and coincide with attempts to have the marionette UN Security Council adopt yet another anti DPRK resolution. It is noteworthy that the US imperialists have managed to drag in their vassal states such as our country the UK. All this goes to show that the US imperialists intends to invade the DPRK and stifle by force the Korean-style people-centred socialist system of the DPRK.
Moreover it should be added that the US has sponsored terrorist actions against the DPRK and has carried out unprecedented psychological warfare against the DPRK . A huge anti DPRK propaganda war has been launched in the Western countries with materials slandering the Juche socialist system of the DPRK being produced almost daily.
The Korean Armistice Agreement which is nearly 60 years old has been repeatedly violated by the US imperialists right from day one. The KAA itself was never meant to last many years as by nature it is a ceasefire agreement and should have been turned into a a permanent peace or non -aggression treaty. However the US imperialists scuppered the high level political conference on the withdrawal of foreign troops in Korea. The US imperialists brought into Korea new weapons including nuclear weapons. They have been 100s of 1000s violations of the KAA by the US imperialists . They even ignored UNGA resolutions on on the withdrawal of US troops from south Korea.
Thus things have reached such a stage whereupon in order to protect its supreme interests, it dignity, sovereignty and its socialist system the DPRK is compelled to scrap the Korean Armistice Agreement. This will form part of the second and third countermeasures to defend the interests of the DPRK announced recently.
The US imperialists are gravely mistaken if they repeat what they did in Yugoslavia, Iraq or Libya in the DPRK. The Korean People's Army commanded by dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is a steel-strongmatch for a hundred revolutionary armed force which will defend the sovereignty of the DPRK and if attack not only repel the US imperialist aggressors but liberate south Korea from US colonial rule and reunify the country.
To reiterate we fully support the all-out actions of the DPRK to defend itself from the threat and encroachment of the US imperialists. Moreover the eyes of the world revolutionary and progressive peoples of the whole world are on the DPRK as it is defending socialism in the world. The US imperialists are not just the sworn enemy of the Korean people but the sworn enemy of the progressive forces of the world. The DPRK is defending world socialism and independence. Let the socialist and anti-imperialist forces of the world rally around the DPRK as it faces the final stand-off against US imperialism. Final victory belongs to the DPRK led by dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
