Statement of the vice-chairman of the AINDF Central Committee

  Now south Korean vanguard fighters and people from  all social standings are on a tiptoe of excitement as they heard New Year Address for 2013 delivered by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The New Year Address made by Marshal Kim Jong Un at a time when the national dignity is enhanced by the peerless great man is a grandiose blueprint for the building of a socialist powerful nation and realization of national independent reunification. It aroused unquestionable support from the south Korean people.

Marshal Kim Jong Un reviewed the first year of the new century of the Juche era and put forth tasks and ways to brilliantly adorn 2013 that marks the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Last year was a historic year in which the great Generalissimos, peerlessly great men born of Heaven, were upheld as the eternal leaders of the Korean nation and a firm guarantee was provided for brilliantly carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche to completion under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un, who has noble loyalty to the preceding leaders, made sure that the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun be built as an imperishable monument and Kim Jong Il is preserved in state as he was in lifetime at it and his statue and towers dedicated to his immortality are erected on Mansu hill and across north Korea.

He, who has an adamantine will to translate Kim Jong Il’s plan for the building of a thriving nation into reality, has provided a solid springboard for an economic giant by continuing his energetic field guidance.  

In particular, the successful launch of the second version of Kwangmyongsong-3 was a great event that enhanced the dignity and honor of Kim Il Sung’s nation to the highest level and it was a great national event that demonstrated an inexhaustible power of north Korea throughout the world.

He, who regards national reunification as his lifelong mission, has flattened the vicious plots of separatists within and without with his Songun politics to create a favorable situation for reunification. He has inspired the entire Korean nation to open up the June 15 independent reunification era with his warm compatriotism.

The south Korean people are confident of a sure realization of national reunification as it is led by the Marshal, the lodestar of reunification, when they saw his works reflecting his will to reunify the country.     

Kim Jong Un, who always devotes his energy to implement the Generalissimos’ behests for reunification, illuminated the tasks and ways for its realization in his New Year Address.

The AINDF vanguard fighters and people from various circles accepted the tasks for national reunification clarified in his New Year Address as the most reasonable measure to bring about a new turning point in improving inter-Korean relations and achieving independent reunification era and are full of a determination to carry them out to the letter.   

It is the most important issue for the Korean nation to maintain legacy of national reunification of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who worked heart and soul throughout their life to hand down a reunified country to their fellow countrymen, laying firm foundations for the independent reunification, peace and prosperity of the nation. The people from all walks of life should accelerate a nationwide drive for reunification in unity to bring about a fresh turning point in realizing national reunification.

Removing confrontation between the south and north of Korea is an important issue in putting an end to the division of the country and achieving its reunification.

As long as a vicious cycle of inter-Korean confrontation lasts and hostile relationship fails to thaw, the improvement of inter-Korean relations, national reconciliation and unity are impossible. In the long run, it leads to nothing but war.     

The past records of inter-Korean relations showed it.  

The broad segments of people, keeping in their mind that confrontation between fellow countrymen leads to nothing but war, should turn out in the campaign to resolutely smash the south Korean warlike forces’ war provocations against north Korea and promote national unity.  

The June 15 Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration are great reunification programs common to the nation and milestones for peace and prosperity. Respecting and thoroughly implementing inter-Korean declarations is a basic prerequisite to promoting the inter-Korean relations and hastening the country’s reunification.  

If inter-Korean declarations were respected and implemented in keeping with the desire of the Korean nation, inter-Korean relations would not be deteriorated and the Korean nation would sing a song of reunification in the mood of national reconciliation and unity.

The people from different strata including workers, peasants, fishermen, youth and students, businessmen and small and medium tradesmen and manufacturers should launch the nationwide drive to implement the June 15 Joint Declaration, the milestone for national reunification and its action program the October 4 Declaration.   

The reunification issue should be solved by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation in an independent manner.

The driving force of the reunification movement is the entire Korean nation, and nothing is impossible if it achieves firm unity.

People from various circles should subordinate and orientate everything to the great national cause of reunifying the country from the standpoint of giving priority and attaching importance to the nation and achieving its unity. At the same time, they should stand up to drive the US troops, the very one responsible for Korea 's division and a cancer in reunification, out of south Korea

Many difficulties and bottlenecks crop up in the way of Korea ’s reunification.

However, the victory of national reunification is certain as it is led by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.  

The AINDF vanguard fighters, together with the people from all social standings, will crush vicious moves of the separatists at home and abroad to adorn this year as a year of bringing about a new turning point in reunification with the concerted efforts of the nation, holding aloft the banner of by the Korean nation itself.
