Today the progressive people of
the world celebrate with solemn emotion the centenary of the birth of
President Kim Il Sung, the most outstanding thinker, theoretician and
distinguished statesman of the world and the great man.
It is a crowning glory and
pride of the progressive people to have such a great man as President
Kim Il Sung.
The World Congress on the Juche
Idea was held on a grand scale from April 12 to 13, 2012 in
Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK under big expectations and
attentions of the world progressives in celebration of the centenary
of the birth of President Kim Il Sung who founded the great Juche
idea to usher in a new era for the development of human history.
This congress was an
international gathering which was held in reflection of humankind’s
unanimous aspiration for independence.
The congress was attended by
the delegations and delegates from 65 countries of the world.
The congress gave a new hope
and energy to the progressive people’s struggle to build a new
independent, peaceful and friendly world under the banner of the
Juche idea.
Assuring that the World
Congress on the Juche Idea held in Pyongyang was an important
occasion that is of historical significance in implementing the
people’s cause of independence, we declare as follows.
President Kim Il Sung and
Leader Kim Jong Il
Are Eternal as Sun of Juche.
President Kim Il Sung and
leader Kim Jong Il were great leaders who illuminated the road ahead
of the era of independence and made immortal contributions to the
cause of global independence.
President Kim Il Sung founded
the great Juche idea with extraordinary ideological and theoretical
wisdom and outstanding ideological and theoretical activities and led
wisely the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence,
thus performing immortal feats that will go down in history.
The life of President Kim Il
Sung was the sacred one of the great revolutionary, the great man,
who devoted himself to freedom and happiness of the people and
progress and peace of humankind.
Leader Kim Jong Il was a
peerless great man who led to victory the cause of global
independence with the great idea and leadership.
It is the immortal exploit
performed by leader Kim Jong Il that he formulated the revolutionary
idea of President Kim Il Sung as an integrated system of idea, theory
and method of Juche and developed and enriched it continuously to
make it a guiding ideology of the era.
Leader Kim Jong Il was a
brilliant commander and political veteran of the world who honourably
safeguarded with the original Songun politics the gains of
socialism, the precious heritage of President Kim Il Sung, and led

realized.
No force can check the struggle
of the popular masses who rose to realize independence with
self-awareness of being masters of their destiny.
It is law of socio-historical
development that humankind advances along the road of independence,
whatever changes there may be in the world political structure.
Independence is justice, truth
and victory.
New independent world will
surely be built by the struggle of the progressive people who value
independence and love justice and peace.
Let Us Bring about a New Turn
in Implementing
the Cause of Global
Independence.
Global independence is a common
fighting task of the progressive people at present.
Independent world is the world
which is free from domination and subjugation, intervention and
pressure and in which all countries and nations fully exercise right
to independence as masters of their destiny.
All countries and nations
should struggle dynamically to bring about common prosperity while
supporting to and cooperating with each other in a peaceful world.
It is necessary for all
countries and nations to exercise full-fledged right to independence
in international arena, in order to realize global independence.
Let us solve all problems
arising in international relations on a fair basis in conformity with
the interests of our countries and nations, the common interests of
humankind.
Let us strengthen and develop
international cooperative relations among countries and nations on
the principle of respecting independence.
It is an important demand for
the implementation of the cause of independence to adhere to the
principle of justice, equality and fairness in the field of
international relations.
There are countries, big or
small and economically developed or underdeveloped in the world, but
there can never be dominating or dominated ones.
All countries and nations
should not allow double standards in the international relations but
establish a new international order based on independence.
Let Us Fight against
Imperialism and Dominationism.
Global independence is
inconceivable without the struggle against imperialism and
dominationism.
Imperialism is dominating force
that tramples down independence of the popular masses and main
obstacle that destroys the world peace and security and disturbs
common development of humankind.
Independence is trampled down
and social chaos and disorder are caused in many countries and
nations of the world by tyranny and arbitrariness of imperialists.
All countries and nations
should never tolerate slightest infringement upon sovereignty,
rejecting every sort of imperialist pressure and intervention.
All countries and nations that
aspire after independence and peace should fight staunchly against
hegemony and aggressive moves made by the imperialists including US
imperialists and under the ambition of world supremacy.

imperialism immediately leads to death.
It is necessary to have a clear

anti-imperialist stand and independent line.

should preserve Juche character and national character and bring
about their independent development and prosperity.
They should also reject every
kind of domination and subjugation by imperialists and defend
national independence and sovereignty by themselves.

The cause of global

and powerful weapon of the anti-imperialist struggle in our era.
All countries and nations
should thoroughly frustrate the imperialists’ moves of aggression,

succeed the study and dissemination of the Juche idea.
Let us improve forms and
methods of studying and disseminating the Juche idea in conformity
with the requirement of developing realities.
Let us disseminate the Juche
idea in such various forms and methods as seminar, lecture,
interview, book, photo and book exhibition, film show, etc. and
widely use up-to-date scientific and technical means to increase
social concerns on the Juche idea.

and successes achieved by the Korean people in advancing the
revolution and construction under the banner of the Juche idea and
apply it in conformity with concrete realities of our countries.
The world progressives’
aspiration to learn after the Juche idea gets stronger day by day in
a new century. History advances dynamically along the orbit of
independence.
We, who celebrate meaningfully
the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung as a grand
auspicious event of human history in Pyongyang, solemnly state once
again before history and the era that we will discharge
responsibility and role as vanguard fighters in implementing the
cause of global independence.
It is our firm determination
and will to fight for victory of the Juche idea in the world.
It is a
historic event giving the conviction in bright future of the Juche
cause that His Excellency Kim Jong Un was elected as the head of the
Workers’ Party of Korea at the 4th WPK Conference.
We will
follow to the last the ideology and leadership of His Excellency Kim
Jong Un, the great successor to the Juche cause.
We firmly believe that the
ideal stated in the World Congress on the Juche Idea held in
Pyongyang will arouse the unanimous sympathy and support of the
