World Conference on Juche Idea to Be Held in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- The International Preparatory Committee of the World Conference on the Juche Idea and the DPRK Preparatory Committee of the World Conference on the Juche Idea Wednesday announced that they would convene the World Conference on the Juche Idea.

The conference on the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and carrying forward its cause will be held in Pyongyang on April 12 and 13, the announcement said, adding:

Prominent personages of political and social circles, delegates of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and the groups for the study of the Juche idea in continents and countries as well as Juche idea followers from around the world will participate in the conference.

The conference will review the feats of world historical significance the President and leader Kim Jong Il performed in realizing the Korean revolution and global independence by founding the Juche idea and developing it in depth. It will also discuss theoretical and practical problems arising in opposing imperialism and achieving global independence and peace and independent development of countries and nations as well as in building a peaceful, prosperous and new society with the Juche idea as guidelines. -0-
