Rodong Sinmun Calls for Heightening Vigilance against Imperialists′ Ballad of 'Freedom', 'Democracy'

Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- The world progressives should draw a lesson from the miserable plight of those countries whose destinies have been played into the hands of the imperialists who advocated "freedom" and "democracy". The world people should heighten vigilance against "freedom" and "democracy" touted by the imperialists.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a by-lined article.

"Freedom and democracy" advertised by the imperialists are slogans for aggression and interference to realize their ambition for world hegemony, the article says, and goes on:

"Freedom" touted by them only allows the capitalist class with money and power to exploit and plunder the broad working masses.

"Democracy" touted by them is also crafty and vicious false propaganda to replace the regimes of those countries advancing independently by their puppet regimes.

The U.S. ballad of "freedom" and "democracy" is aimed to instill the jungle law into other countries and thus overturn their systems. It makes the people lost trust and become resistant to the systems through bourgeois liberalization, thus making them to act as they wish and sacrifice others for their own sake.

The United States stoops to any infamy to instill "freedom and democracy".

The drive to fight capitalism is precisely the one for genuine freedom and democracy.

The working people can enjoy genuine freedom and democracy only in the socialist society. -0-
