CPRK Flails S. Korean Authorities′ Moves to Intercept Websites

Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea released its information bulletin No. 986 Thursday to condemn the south Korean authorities' desperate efforts to intercept websites praising the DPRK.

The bulletin said:

The south Korean puppet clique is nowadays trying to intercept the pro-north websites praising the DPRK and calling for alliance and reunification with it after forming a joint investigation group made up of the prosecution, police, broadcasting communication commission and others.

It declared a "war against the pro-north websites", crying that the number of those websites has rapidly increased every year to reach the level of threatening the system. It is clamping down on those websites at random while harshly repressing the organizations and persons who posted on Internet articles and animation files lauding the DPRK.

Such fascist moves are one more rude violation of human rights and treacherous deed, and they are an extension of the campaign for confrontation with the DPRK.

This action is nothing but a last-ditch effort of those driven into a tight corner as it is aimed to arrest the desire for alliance and reunification with the DPRK growing stronger in south Korea and tide over the ruling crisis by quailing the progressive forces obstructive to the maintenance of power.

In the present era when the Internet was spread over the whole world the south Korean authorities punish its users, branding them as "elements benefiting the enemy". This rude violence is a deed of going against civilization, and it clearly shows how ruthlessly human rights are violated in south Korea.

They are heinous anti-reunification fanatics keen on confrontation with fellow countrymen and indifferent to even elementary human rights, the worst violator of human rights and dusts of history that should be removed without delay.

Faith and conscience can never be quelled with fascist repression and people's desire cannot be checked with bayonet and prison.

The puppet group should stop at once its foolish repressive campaign aimed at arresting the south Korean people's desire for alliance and reunification with the DPRK, squarely seeing their mindset and the trend of the times. -0-
