The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and Juche Idea Study Group of England today issued the following joint statement on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the glorious Workers Party of Korea.
The Workers Party of Korea,founded by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and which is today led by the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il,it is now celebrating its 65th anniversary in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and heightened militancy and the DPRK is also in a festive mood following the re election of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il as its general secretary.
The Workers Party of Korea founded on October 10th 1945 has its historical roots in the anti Japanese armed revolutionary struggle organised and led by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung.Indeed the anti Japanese armed struggle led by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung constitutes the priceless revolutionary traditions of the WPK and and serves as the foundation stone for the present and the future.
The WPK has achieved monolithic unity based on the Juche idea.It achieved unity not only within its own ranks but also throughout sociaty in the DPRK..Indeed such unity is unknown in the world.The WPK opposed factionalism and opportunism.
The WPK rejected great power chauvinism and flunkeyism,always maintaining the independent line.It maintained friendly relations with the 2 big socialist countries at a time when there was a split in the socialist camp.It refused to join the CMEA but instead built a powerful independent national economy based on Juche and self reliance.
It fought hard against modern revisionism when it appeared in the early 60s and it fought against modern social democracy which appeared in the 1980s.It upheld the glorious red flag of socialism when others abandoned it.The WPK is an invincible revolutionary party guided by Juche and Songun.

Workers Party of Korea whereas other parties changed their basic principles blindly capitulating to imperialism and some even ceased to exist.It is an example to the revolutionary parties of the world for its constant adherence to revolutionary principleThe WPK is an ever victorious party that has led six decades of purposeful and creative socialist construction achieving great miracles such as the Chollima march of the 1950s.It carried a complex two stage revolution and built in the land of Korea an a most advantageous socialist system centred upon the popular masses of a Korean style.The socialism of the DPRK created by the WPK under the leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung is not a copy of another country but one that suits the reality of Korea and aspirations of the Korean people,it is Juche socialism.
The WPK is the mother party that takes care of the peoples lives.Free education and free health care were introduced,long ago,indeed the free health system was introduced in the flames of war in 1953.Korean people recieve great social benefits such as free housing and taxation was abolished in 1974.The DPRK is a socialist paradise that the world revolutionary people dream of.
The WPK under the leadership of the great leaders comrade Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il
consistently developed the Juche idea,the idea that the popular mases are the masters of the revolution and construction.The great leader comrade Kim Jong Il put forward the Songun politics,an embodiment of the Juche idea,in order to defend and enhance
Korean style socialism which was facing grave challenges from the US imperialists. Today the WPK stands pround unfazed by the ceaseless moves of the US imperialists and international reactionaries to stifle and destroy socialism.The DPRK is the bulwark of world socialism.
Now under the Songun revolutionary leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il
and the WPK signal achievements are being made in the march to a powerful prosperous
socialist nation.Notable of these is the production of Juche iron and vinalon.
We Songun and Juche idea followers of the UK salute the vast and unparalled achievements of the WPK which have been six and half decades of victory and glory thanks to the leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il.
