Brief Report of UK Korean Friendship Association Meeting September 18th
Held in central London

It was attended by KFA members with KFA Official Delegate and KFA organistion secretary in attendance.Hugh Goodacre
brough greetings to  the meeting on behalf of Juche orientated social scientists.Messages from Swiss KFA and Singapore KFA were read out to the
meeting.Apologies were not for attending the meeting were recieved from UK KFA Communications secretary and
Staffordshire KFA and secretary general of the Juche Idea Study Group of England.
In his opening speech KFA Official Delegate said that the DPRK had just celebrated
the 62nd anniversary of its foundation and very soon the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers party of Korea the guiding force of the
Korean people will be celebrated.He also said that December will see the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the KFA itself which was founded in
Spain in December 2000.
                The speaker said that the DPRK faced unceasing pressure and hostility from the US imperialists and the south
Korean puppets and even the UK establishment and its hired media.He said that the DPRK was slandered by the
imperialist ITN.However it is good thing that people of the DPRK do not know McDonalds or Starbucks which shows
the DPRK is free from globalisation,that indeed another world is possible and the DPRK is the realisation  of
such a world.

UK KFA Organisation secretary read out a statement of the All Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks on the anniversary of the foundation
of the DPRK and also the 61st anniversary of the passing away of Madame Kim Jong Suk,mother of Korea.He said that the DPRK provides free education
and free  health care whereas in Russia fees have to for such services.He  also said comrade Kim Jong Suk was an great paragon of women communist
revolutionary fighters and outstanding womens leader of Korea.
The statement of the Korean Committee For Solidarity with the World People on ending the US military occupation of
south Korea was read out.The statement said that the white eagle of US imperialism is all over the whole world but it has stayed in Korea the longest.The
meeting resolved to take some measures to campaign to get US troops withdrawn from south Korea.

KFA Official Delegate also spoke about the anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK.He said the DPRK was founded by the popular will of the Korean nation
north and south.The DPRK origins were in the anti Japanese armed struggle.The DPRK had built socialism not in ideal conditions but on the
debris of war and in confrontation with US imperialism.The DPRK built a powerful people centred socialism and had become a model of socialism.He
said that the DPRK not only maintained socialism but also the Juche character and national identity.
KFA Org Sec read out the paper  "The Historical Roots of the Workers Party of Korea".He said that the WPK's orgins are in the anti
Japanese armed struggle particularly the Down With Imperialism.The WPK is a solid revolutionary party different from
both bourgeois parties and the former ruling parties.He said that the WPK opposed revisionism and maintained independence.

Speakers from the floor supported the proposal to found the Democratic Confederal Republic of Koryo.
The meeting reviewed the activity of UK KFA and made proposals for future
activity.
