UK KFA Picket of South Korean puppet embassy May 21st

On the 21st of May the UK Korean Friendship Association picketed the south Korean puppet embassy in Buckingham Gate Victoria London to mark the 30th anniversary of the Kwangju massacare by the south Korean fascist puppets which resulted in 5,000 deaths. The picket was organised at a difficult time when anti DPRK provocations by the south Korean puppet fascist ruling clique and the US imperialists had risen to new levels.

The picket was staged from 12-30 to 16-30,it was attended by members of UK KFA,the Juche Idea Study Group of England,Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK,the For Bolshevism group and the New Communist Party.Messages of support for the picket were recieved from the Switzerland -Korea Committee and the Swiss Juche Idea Study Group under Martin Lotscher and the Anti Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea.

The UK KFA banner was displayed along with a special banner drawing attention to the Kwangju massacre and its death toll and exposing the fascist nature of the south Korean regime as well as banners saying Down With Lee Myung Bak and No UNSC sanctions.A DPRK flag and the flag of For Bolshevism AUCPB were hoisted
The Organisation secretary of UK KFA read out statements of the AINDFSK such as 'Kwangju Uprising Unfinished " and "Echo of Kwangju".He said that the US imperialists and their puppets turned Kwangju into a sea of blood. He said that the desire of the Kwangju uprisers remained unfulfilled.Comrade Cain also read out the statement of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

The chairman and official delegate of UK KFA and chairman of the Juche Idea Study Group of England made a short speech saying that the existence of the south Korean puppet embassy in London is an anarchonism and an anomaly as south Korea is not an independent country but an artifical creation of the US and a puppet regime. He said that the Lee Myung Bak clique is continuing the repression of pro reunification patriots in south Korea and the National Security Law remains in force.

Slogans such as "Dissolve the NIS" and "Down with Lee Myung Bak" were chanted.

A leaflet "Kwangju 5,000 dead" was handed to passers by.

The SK puppet embassy sent a young female member of staff out to take a leaflet and then disappeared inside the embassy. Some minor trouble arose with the police who questioned the right to use a loudhailer but later accepted this had been agreed but the volume should not be high.

The main thing was that UK KFA did something at what is an extremely difficult and

tense time.We gave support to the DPRK and AINDF when others were silent and

did nothing.
