The politics of Chairman Kim Il Sung is the politics of love and comradeship.
He declared that he would make the whole society of north Korea a world of comradeship and consummate the revolutionary cause of Juche on the strength of unity consolidated by the revolutionary comradeship.
He loves the ¡°Song of Comradeship¡± best among many others.
1. Chairman Kim Jong Il¡¯s love of comrades which cannot be bought even with gold
President Kim Il Sung said in his lifetime that the most precious thing for the revolutionaries is comrades and comradeship. He emphasized that to earn comrades is to win everything on earth and losing comrades means losing all.
A photo found in the safe of President Kim Il Sung¡¯s office, which he had taken with comrade Kim Chaek vividly shows his sublime camaraderie that treasures comrades more than any other valuables.
Chairman Kim Jong Il is the supreme paragon and prototype of comradeship, who embodied the sublime comradeship of the President.
Chairman Kim Jong Il always respected the anti-Japanese fighters, the first generation of revolution, and the officials loyal to the party and the revolution after the country¡¯s liberation, and bestowed upon them great trust and loving care.
His loving care for Cheo Hyon testifies to that.
When Cheo Hyon, a renowned anti-Japanese fighter, was unable to discharge the duty of the Defence Minister due to an illness Kim Jong Il said he would be relieved if Cheo only stood by the side of him and sent him kinds of tonics and saw to it that he received a spa treatment in a scenic rest center.
After his death chairman Kim Jong Il recalled that Cheo Hyon was a faithful retainer who upheld the Party and the leader in military uniform to the last moment of his life, and ensured that a film titled ¡°A Revolutionary¡± with him as the model was produced to be forever alive in the harts of the people.
Chairman Kim Jong Il¡¯s loving care for the officials is noticeable.
The fact that chairman Kim Jong Il presented a handbook with his autograph ¡°I¡¯m Jong Il, You¡¯re Ho Dam¡± to Ho Dam, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, prior to his 60th birthday is one of the anecdotes conveying his love for comrades.
Whenever he lost his officials Kim Jong Il said in deep emotion that they were all true functionaries caring nothing other than the work and paid attention even to the future of their posterity.
His wholehearted loving care for the unconverted long-term prisoners is an example of genuine comradeship.
He always regarded the issue of repatriating the unconverted long-term prisoners from south Korea as the foremost task arising in the reunification movement and made devoted efforts for its realization.
He forced the Kim Young-sam regime which was judged as an anti-nation and anti-reunification regime by the people to repatriate Lee In-mo to the north.
This legend of love moved the entire world.
And at the first north-south summit meeting in 2000 Kim Jong Il managed to agree on repatriating the unconverted long-term prisoners, thus created an unprecedented epic of the crossing to the north of 63 prisoners over the division wall.
Like this, Kim Jong Il¡¯s comradeship is unprecedentedly distinguished.
Thanks to such politics of comradeship, the Workers¡¯ Party of Korea could be strengthened and developed into a party of single-minded unity and powerful invincible party unheard-of in history.
2. Chairman Kim Jong Il¡¯s love of soldiers, identical to that of real parents
Kim Jong Il has stressed that he always regarded the soldiers as his own sons and daughters and trusted in them as his comrades and fellows in arms with whom he would share life and death.
His history of Songun is just the history of loving the soldiers.
No raging waves, nor dangerous steep mountains nor enemy¡¯s guns could impede his journey of loving the soldiers.
One day in February 1996 he inspected a height in a forefront and tasted a soy sauce. It was neither dainty nor good in color.
After he personally acquainted himself with the taste and color of a soy sauce he saw to it that the dried soy sauce was supplied to the precious soldiers.
There were lots of famous generals but there is no such a supreme commander like chairman Kim Jong Il who pays deep attention to the meals and living conditions of soldiers.
On a winter day chairman Kim Jong Il met with two soldiers on a forefront height and familiarized himself with their padded winter clothes and shoes.
Even the soldiers felt no inconvenient he worried that their winter clothes and shoes were thin with little cotton, so the soldiers would feel cold and not wear them for long. After that he ensured that the airtight padded wither clothes were provided to the soldiers.
Chairman Kim Jong Il asked the officials that they should always take warm and meticulous care for the soldiers until they do not feel any inconvenient saying that our soldiers are valuable treasure that can be substituted for nothing.
There is a saying ¡°No weak soldiers under a brave general¡±.
Kim Jong Il¡¯s loving care of soldiers is the source that brought up the KPA into the strongest army in the world.
3. Chairman Kim Jong Il¡¯s love of people with no calculation
Chairman Kim Jong Il¡¯s realm of sublime comradeship boils down to the love of the people.
He regards the people as heaven, comrades and teachers and still continues the untiring journey of loving the people.
When a girl-fisher was in distress during catching shellfishes in the West Sea of north Korea in February 1975, Kim Jong Il commanded the rescue operation for her and saved her life by mobilizing even the army and helicopters.
Kim Jong Il said to the officials that with maternal affection that knows no calculation we could give more benefits to the people, and that people often dislike the losing transaction but we should do it for the sake of the people, emphasizing that no calculation for the people is his arithmetic and the calculating method of the WPK.
The wonderful political reality of north Korea where the leader boundlessly loves the people and the people absolutely trust in and follow only the leader shows eloquently the truth that the might of comradeship and great love is infinite.
Socialism in north Korea where the comradeship is in full bloom and the love of grand family overflows is in a word a socialism of love and comradeship and an ideal land full of love and trust, which humankind has long dreamt for.
The sublime comradeship of chairman Kim Jong Il is the pabulum and driving force that propel north Korea today.
As long as the annals of sublime comradeship and grand journey of love of chairman Kim Jong Il, saint of love, continue, socialism of north Korea will display its fame as a paradise of people's happiness, paradigm of world politics and an invincible power.
