With the 12th anniversary of the demise of the Chairman (December 17, 2011) approaching, the north Korean people and all the compatriots are recollecting with deep emotion the sacred life of the great Chairman Kim Jong Il who devoted his all for the fatherland and the people.

Chairman Kim Jong Il was the great revolutionary as well as the peerless patriot who dedicated himself to the fatherland and revolution all his life.

Deeming it his supreme honor to dedicate himself to the fatherland and the people, he has made a ceaseless journey of devoted service for them until the last moments of his life.

Kim Jong Il was the greatest-ever person who rendered distinguished services on behalf of the times and revolution in the struggle for building a socialist power, for hastening the reunification of the country, and for achieving the world independent cause, desired by President Kim Il Sung throughout his tenure.

Kim Jong Il was the tender-hearted father of the people who made undying contribution to the betterment of the people's living.

In the course, lots of touching anecdotes and historical terms came into being including "catnaps and rice-balls", "padded clothes and field haircut", "forced march in the blizzards of winter and the sweltering weather", and "super-intense forced march".

Chairman Kim Jong Il was the benevolent father of the Korean nation who sent a lot of relief to the south Korean victims of the flood and paid a visit to the truce village of Panmunjeom, the hottest spot on which the enemies are entrenched, for the sake of reunification of the country.

In the whole period of his revolutionary leadership, Kim Jong Il traveled the distance of 669 844 kilometers in total length to give energetic field guidance for the prosperity and development of the country, and happiness of posterity.

More than 669 844 kilometers, the length tells the ardent aspiration cherished by and the painstaking efforts made by Kim Jong Il for the people.

Thanks to his forced march of patriotic devotion and loving care for the people, the national power of the country was remarkably strengthened and the eternal cornerstone for building a thriving nation was laid.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un makes a ceaseless efforts to translate great desire of the Chairman for the fatherland and people into reality.

Thanks to Kim Jong Un, who is identical to Chairman Kim Jong Il, making a long journey of love and devotion for the people, the undying exploits of the Chairman will shine long along with the times as well as the prosperous Juche Korea.
