ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF SONGUN POLITICS UK
London 1st of December Juche 112(2023)
The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) today issued a joint statement supporting the remarks of comrade Kim Yo Jong ,vice department director of the central committee of the Workers Party of Korea(WPK), ;
In her press statement of the 29th of November comrade Kim Yo Jong ,vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, took issue with the recent open meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC ) strongly denouncing and rejecting it . This is the correct stance and one that fundamentally defends the interests of the DPRK as the UNSC had no place or right to discuss the recent satellite launch of the DPRK !.
In particular Greenfield -Thomas of the US had claimed preposterously that the DPRK's military reconnaissance satellite is a threat to it but the US have brought its nuclear weapons to within 500 kilometres(310 miles ) of the DPRK .For many years the DPRK has been on the list of targets for a pre-emptive nuclear strike.
Comrade Kim Yo Jong incisively analyses the oft repeated offer 'dialogue ' mouthed by Greenfield-Thomas pointing out that it coincides with the deployment of a US nuclear aircraft carrier and a US nuclear submarine . Such an offer accompanied by such military pressure cannot be genuine !
The press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong declares that 'The sovereignty of an independent state can never be an agenda item for negotiations, and therefore, the DPRK will never sit face to face with the U.S. for that purpose.' This shows that the DPRK is not taking any nonsense from the US and is not fooled by the spurious and false offers of the US imperialists . The DPRK is maintaining a tough and revolutionary stand.
We applaud the press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong and support the DPRK's continued exercise of its independence.
