ASSPUK , BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP support the speech of Marshal KIM JONG UN to the 9th Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK  KFA  UK )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) ;

The 9th session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly  of the DPRK was held recently . At the session in was decided to include a provision in the Socialist Constitution of the DPRK that the DPRK is a nuclear armed state . This greatly enhances the legal status of the DPRK as a nuclear power and guarantees the strengthening of the DPRK's national defensive capabilities.

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN addressed the SPA session with regard to the above issue and on some other points . In his speech respected Marshal KIM JONG UN makes a most profound analysis of the international situation and the situation in and around the Korean peninsula . As he says "Now that the U.S., steeped in the Cold War mentality, has gone to extremes in its anti-DPRK military provocations, it is very important for the DPRK to accelerate the modernization of nuclear weapons in order to hold the definite edge of strategic deterrence for more thoroughly deterring and controlling those provocations and fulfill its mission as a responsible nuclear weapons state in the struggle to preserve stability on the Korean peninsula and its vicinity."

The US moves to stifle People's Korea have gone to the extreme with Biden saying that he would end 'whatever regime ' in the DPRK , in other words planning for actual physical regime change .The US and south Korean puppets  have created a 'Nuclear Consultative Group ' with the aim of waging nuclear war on the DPRK.

As long as imperialism  and its nuclear weapons exist , the DPRK must continuously increase its nuclear deterrent force . Moreover respected Marshal KIM JONG UN rightfully states that had the DPRK relies on others for its defence and security or been tempted by illusory offers of the imperialists then it would then it would cease to exist a long time . This shows that Marshal KIM JONG UN is a wise and astute leader who does not have illusions about either imperialism or other countries.

Also mentioned in the speech is the need to increase solidarity with those nations standing against the US but from an independent standpoint and maintaining revolutionary principles .

As to internal policies respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  stresses the need for people-oriented policies to be pushed forward in depth and for the struggle against anti-socialist and no-socialist practices to continue.

We applaud the speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the 9th Session of the 14th SPA and support the legislative measures that the DPRK has taken to further consolidate its nuclear status . We believe that the DPRK is absolutely right to not give up its nuclear weapons and to opt to further increase its nuclear force . There is no sell-out , no compromise and no turning back by the DPRK !
