Dear comrade Dr. Dermot Hudson, Dear comrades of KFA UK and the Association for the study of Songun politics of the UK, in this meeting we are celebrating two important anniversaries: 78. anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule and the 20. anniversary of the foundation of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics of the UK.
We want to congratulate you two 20 years of studying Songun politics. We also celebrate to you the liberation of Korea by Japanese colonialist rule. Korea was the first country liberating itself and remaining politically, economically and militarily fully souverain. Many countries in Asia and Africa followed the example of Korea. The old imperialist colonial system collapsed, but world imperialism lead by US imperialism etablished the neocolonial system to regain control over the former colonies. The dear leader comrade KIM JONG IL wrote:
After the Second World War, the imperialists, with the US imperialism as the ringleader, changed the method of their colonial rule by the neo-colonialist trick to save the collapsing colonial system from the crisis.
As the power of the socialist countries grew and strengthened after the Second World War, the national liberation struggle flared up fiercely and thus it has become impossible to maintain the colonies in the previous way, the imperialists formally recognised independence with the deceitful aim of further shackling the peoples of the colonies to the chain of colonial slaves and bringing the peoples of the countries that won independence into dependence once again, and are carrying out the colonial policy through the puppets they promote. In line with the neo-colonialist method of rule, the imperialists establish puppet regimes through stooges loyal to them, control them behind the scenes and thus realise political domination over the colonial dependent states. Using "aid" as bait and various sophisticated tricks like unequal exchange and concession in the colonies, the imperialists keep the lifeline of the economy of the colonial-dependent countries in their hands and cruelly plunder rich resources and fruits of labour of the peoples of these countries.
Like old colonialism, neo-colonialism is no different in that it is a product of the imperialist policy of aggression aimed at ruling and plundering the peoples of other countries. The characteristic feature of neo-colonialism is that its method of colonial rule is even more sophisticated and vicious.
The imperialists try to invade the newly independent countries, plot to overthrow governments and thereby overthrow progressive governments and divert those countries to the path of the rightist tendency. They brazenly perpetrate schemes to change puppets in their colonies without hesitation if they have become an obstacle to their colonial rule. This vividly shows the wickedness of the neo-colonialist method of rule. Also, the "aid" the imperialists talk loudly about is, after all, another word for plunder; it means giving one thing to these countries and taking ten things away. Japanese imperialism used to conquer our country and set up its ruling apparatus and ruled over our country directly through the "governor-general" but US imperialism, which now occupies South Korea, established a puppet regime and realises its political domination through this regime. Japanese imperialism dissolved the national army of our country and denied Korea to have its own armed force, but US imperialism established a puppet army in south Korea and realised military domination through the command of this puppet army. Japanese imperialism obviously kept the economic lifeline of Korea in its hands and perpetrated the economic plunder, but the US imperialists are realising the policy of economic subjugation of south Korea under the lying figurehead of "aid". Because of the old colonialist policy of Japanese imperialism, Korea used to have the face of a colonial dependent state, but today's South Korea, which is falling prey to the neo-colonialist policy of US imperialism, is a colony under the mask of an "independent state". The colonial policy of US imperialism currently being pursued in South Korea clearly shows the sophistication of the neocolonialist method.“
This also disproves the claims of the liberals and fake-leftist who claim colonialism wouldn´t exist anymore. We know, that it isn´t easy to make this political work. A lot of poltical activists get discriminated, lose their jobs etc. This is why I want to thank you in the name of KFA Germany so much for this very important political work exposing the lies of the imperialists and to show all of the world the truth about PeoplesKorea.
Down with Japanese and US imperialism! Down with the south korean puppet-regime!
