The International Central Committee for Songun Study(ICCSS) organised an international online seminar for the 81st anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL on the theme of “Enhancement of global independence is most essential for establishing an international Songun university is the best focus for the 81st anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL.
Participating in the seminar were Songun idea followers from Bangladesh, Nepal , Pakistan and the UK. Speeches were sent in from Brazil, Jamaica, Mali and the US.
Dr Dermot Hudson, hon secretary general of the ICCSS , President of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea , opened the meeting saying that the recent parade of the Korean People’ Army for its 75th founding anniversary demonstrated the might of Songun .
Dr M Jahanghir Khan president of the International Central Committee for Songun Study in his keynote address said that “the year has another auspicious birth day Anniversary of Beloved leader of world progressive peoples , remembering the peoples proletarian thinker KIM JONG IL , His Excellency really rebuild Korea on the way of respected president KIM IL SUNG , embodying songun policy that’s makes Korea-style songun politics. Now this is grown Global Independence as a guiding thought of Generalissimo KIM JONG IL and present era of Songun internationale brilliantly interpreted by His Excellency respected General Secretary of WPK. We are some Global activists remember the Great men of MT. Peaktu by disseminating Songun Internationale as focus of KIMILSUNGISM-KIMJONGILISM that will be gathered Anti Imperialist popular masses all over the world to face against media of so-called human rights which are backed by the allies of imperialism. But due to enhance the learning of KIMILSUNG-KIMJONGILISM on the front to resist imperialistic oppression among the farmy of countries and guiding principle for unity and global relation for opposing imperialistic economy , in the position Juche oriented global trading needs to realize in proletariat world . ICCSS opens itself as a catalytic anti-imperial platform, doing popular masses self-economy of Juche Idea and self-defence of Juche countries under the guideline of global independence as a manner of Songun internationale.”
Dr Hudson in his address said that “Today global independence is under attack from US imperialism and big power chauvinism. The creation of an International Songun University will make a meaningful contribution to the struggle for global independence by further disseminating the Songun idea and Songun politics of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL whose birth anniversary is in a few days' time on the 16th of February. We should study the exploits made by comrade KIM JONG IL in the struggle for global independence.
The great leader comrade KIM JONG IL actively defended independence all his life and pushed forward the cause of global independence. His credo was that of "Independence, independence and independence ". His whole life was spent furthering the cause of independence, Indeed the very name KIM JONG IL is associated with anti-imperialism and independence because throughout his life he opposed not only imperialism but dominationism and big power chauvinism’
Comrade PR Pant of vice president of the ICCSS and general secretary general of Nepalese Association of journalists for supporting the Songun politics paid tribute to the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL saying that “February 16, Juche 112 (2023) marks the 81st Birth Anniversary of the Great Leader Comrade KIM JONG IL, Eternal Chairman of the Workers’ party of Korea. The Korean people observe this occasion as the nation’s greatest holiday as the Day of the Shining Star which the world’s people advocating the cause of independence and justice, also view it as great occasion for celebration.” Comrade Pant also stressed the need for an International Songun University saying that “The research and study of it in the academic institute has become an urgent need of the present time, because the US imperialists, its puppet forces, revisionists and fake leftist elements are continuously creating false theories and slandering the reality of People’s Korea. The imperialists’ force also created false propaganda against Songun politics and people’s Korea.”
Javed Ansari Chairman of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association said “ Comrade KIM JONG IL was not only the great leader of the Korean people but also an outstanding leader of the socialist movement .”
Messages from the Korean Friendship Association of the USA, the Brazilian Centre for the Study of the Juche Idea, the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party in Jamacia and a Songun idea follower in Mali were read by Dr Hudson.
A message to Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
Dr Hudson concluded the meeting by saying that we must build up solidarity with the DPRK and expand the work of the ICCSS.
