A military parade was held on February 8 in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army. What was characteristic were the columns representing its history and tradition and their inheritance.
The parade was led by the columns of soldiers holding the portraits of anti-Japanese fighters who had created the origin of the tradition of victory, of veteran revolutionaries who were members of the Guard Company during the Fatherland Liberation War and of commanders who had left indelible imprints in the annals of the development of the country’s revolutionary armed forces.
The parade convinced the viewers of the truth that the lives dedicated to the sacred cause of the revolution will remain in the memory of the country and people for ever, even though time may change and one generation may be replaced by another.
