ASSPUK, BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP support comrade Kim Yo Jong Press statement of the 19th of February

 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean peninsula (BSCPRKP)  issued a statement in support of the press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee(CC)  of the Workers' Party of Korea(WPK)  which was made on the 19th of February 2023;

In her press statement on the 19th of February comrade Kim Yo Jong, vice dept director of the CC of the WPK took issue with both the recent closed-door session of the UN Security Council(UNSC)  and the US imperialist threats to People's Korea. The press statement slammed the attempts of the US imperialists to turn the UNSC into  "a tool for its heinous hostile policy toward the DPRK.". There is absolutely no reason for the UNSC to discuss the DPRK's missile tests.

At the same time, comrade Kim Yo Jong warned the US and south Korea against making further moves that will endanger peace and security on the Korean peninsula, particularly talk of so-called 'extended deterrence '.

Moreover, comrade Kim Yo Jong exposes the falsity of the so-called 'dialogue ' touted by the US imperialists saying that 'The U.S. would be well-advised to stop saying that it is not hostile toward the DPRK and the door to dialogue is open, hoodwinking the world, and to give up its foolish trick for earning the time through dialogue. And it should stop all the actions posing threats to the security of our state and refuse to tarnish the DPRK's dignity, always thinking twice for its own future security"

The statement concludes by saying that the DPRK is watching every move of the US and south Korea and will take powerful and overwhelming counter-action against its enemies. 

We support this warning because the only way to deal with a bully is to stand up to them!
