These are the children of the nursery at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill in the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. They are growing up in good health under the close concern of the nurses while receiving education for intellectual development.
In the DPRK, children are taken care of at the expense of the state and society at nurseries, kindergartens and other service facilities built in residential areas, factories and enterprises, so that their mothers work free from any worries.
