The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of UK ( KFA UK) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement denouncing the remarks of, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and supporting the press statement of Kim Son Gyong, vice-minister for international organizations of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK;
Recently , the UN Secretary-General Guterres visited south Korea and said that he "expresses full support for the complete, verifiable and irretrievable denuclearization (CVID) of the DPRK' and that this is somehow a priority for achieving regional peace .
The fact that these remarks were made in south Korea , an enemy of the DPRK , betrays the total lack of impatriality of the UN .Guterres is acting on the orders of the US who want to disarm the DPRK so they can invade it and topple the socialist system in the DPRK .
As vice minister comrade Kim Son Gyong points out in his press statement" It is clearly specified in the UN Charter that the UN secretary-general should not request or accept orders from the government of a specific country but refrain from doing any act that may impair his or her position as an international official who is liable only to the UN". Yet the UN Secretary General is acting as an errand boy of the US and making vituperations against the DPRK in the US colony of south Korea .
It was also pointed out that" The so-called CVID, touted by the U.S. and its vassal forces, is just an infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK as it demands the unilateral disarmament, and Secretary-General Guterres perhaps knows well that the DPRK has totally rejected it without any toleration"
It is indeed shameful that the UN Secretary General is joining hands with the US imperialists and south Korean puppets in their sinister moves to disarm the DPRK and achieve regime change . Does this prove that the UN is a marionette of the US imperialists ?
Why doesn't the UN Secretary General call for the US to reduce its massive stockpile of nuclear weapons and to withdraw its nuclear weapons from in and around the Korean peninsula ?
The foolish and ill advised remarks of the UN Secretary General only serve to fuel the flames of war on the Korean peninsula .
We denounce the UN Secretary General and express full solidarity with the DPRK .
