ASSPUK, BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP applaud speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN titled "The Veterans of the Fatherland Liberation War Are the Most Heroic Generation of Our Republic"

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement  highly appraising and support the brilliant speech of dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN  titled " "The Veterans of the Fatherland Liberation War Are the Most Heroic Generation of Our Republic " which was made on the 27th of July to the celebratory event for the 69th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland War ;

  Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN begins the speech by thanking the war veterans for their heroic efforts during the great Fatherland Liberation War and for being in good health .

  The importance of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation  War is summed up succintly by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN who points out in the speech that  "We defended the dignity, honour and sovereignty of our Republic, safeguarded the environment for the peaceful development of our state, checked the US ambition for world supremacy, and defended peace of mankind by preventing a new world war. Herein lies the great significance of the Fatherland Liberation War in the history of our nation and the world history of wars".

This is indeed so very true  . By defeating US imperialism in the great Fatherland Liberation the Korean people halted US imperialism in its tracks and foiled the moves of the US imperialists to provoke a third world war against the socialist countries  .

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  stresses that it is not just a matter of celebrating a historical view but a question of inhertiging the brilliant spirt of the war veterans and carry it forward in the struggle against the enemies of the DPRK .  Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN identifies key tasks as being  "To further consolidate the nation's defence capability on the strength of the heroic spirit displayed during the war is a fundamental guarantee for defending the national interests of the Republic and its independent development.

Our revolution has been in sharp confrontation with the United States which has bluntly resorted to nuclear threat against us since the Fatherland Liberation War. This historical environment demanded that we, above all else, raise our state's self-defence capability onto a due level, and we have realized this pressing historic task through an arduous struggle"

  Thus the spirit of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War is translated into the struggle to defend the DPRK from US imperialism and to increase the national defence capablities of the DPRK . Marshal KIM JONG UN correctly points out that the successes in developoing the DPRK's national defence capablities is itself a great victory on an equal level with the victory in the Fattherland Liberation .

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  hits back at the US hostile policy against the DPRK saying that "The US imperialists are obsessed with making a "devil" of our state by manipulating the international understanding and opinion of it. This is nothing but a stereotyped method of camouflaging their aggressive nature as a world peace breaker and justifying their illegal hostile policy"   and points out that "We must confront the US imperialists to the end on the strength of ideology and arms".

The new ultra-rightist puppet regime in south Korea is also sharply denounced for its reactionary anti-DPRK policies and its warmongering attitudes . Marshal KIM JONG UN  warns the south Korean puppet regime  thus " the south Korean regime and military ruffians think about confronting us militarily and that they can neutralize or destroy some parts of our military forces preemptively by resorting to some special military means and methods, they are grossly mistaken!

Such a dangerous attempt will be punished at once by a powerful force and Yoon Suk Yeol regime and its army will be annihilated."

So the south Korean reactionaries have been duly warned not to provoke the DPRK.

Lastly , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN correctly stresses the class nature of the struggle to defend the DPRK  by saying that "When we achieve innovative successes at our posts and workplaces with thoroughgoing class consciousness, always mindful of the fact that the anti-imperialist class struggle is a struggle for defending not only our destiny but also our country, this will accelerate our creation and construction and deal heavier blows at the hostile forces".  It is really great that respected Marshal KIM JONG UN identifies the link between class struggle and defending the country .

All in all this is a brilliant and superb speech . We support all the ideas and lines contained in the speech and the just struggle of the DPRK against the US imperialists .\
