Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a message of greeting to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, on June 12.
In the message, he extended the warm congratulations on behalf of the DPRK government and people to the president and the friendly government and people of the Russian Federation on its national day.
Noting that the Russian people have achieved great successes in accomplishing the just cause of defending the dignity and security of their country and its right to development while braving all sorts of challenges and hardships under the guidance of the president, the message said that the Korean people extend full support and encouragement to them.
It is the steadfast stand of the DPRK government to value the DPRK-Russia relations with a long history and tradition of friendship and good neighborhood and comprehensively expand and develop them in keeping with the requirement of the new times and the desire of the peoples of the two countries, the message noted.
It said: I express the conviction that the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship and cooperation, which have greeted a new radical turn of their development after our first meeting in Vladivostok in April 2019, would continue to strengthen with vigor in all fields and the strategic and tactical cooperation between the two countries would get closer in the journey for defending the international justice and ensuring the global security.
The message sincerely wished the president good health and the friendly Russian people wellbeing and prosperity. -0-
