A Review by John Marchant "The Great Conspiracy Against Peoples Korea - An Expose of the intrigues to destroy Juche-based socialism by Dr. Dermot Hudson"

This year when I headed off for my annual summer holidays with my wife and family, instead of reading Harold Robbins or John La Carre on the beach, I choose Dermot Hudson's book. "The Great Conspiracy Against Peoples Korea" offers a wealth of information on the various schemes to bring the social system of the DPRK down and deny the sovereignty of Peoples Korea over the course of seven decades. Most of the plots concocted by Western Imperialism in regard to the DPRK are very reminiscent of an espionage thriller. Doctor Dermot Hudson looks at the campaign of dirty tricks waged against the DPRK in a detailed yet entertaining manner. The two which I enjoyed the most were Chapters Nine on the subject of "the DPRK engagers" and the Appendix on The Mole (the Larson Affair). On these topics, Doctor Hudson examines the root causes and motivations behind this phenomenon. This is a highly recommended publication in the tradition of Michael Sayers' and Albert Khan's work "The Great Conspiracy Against Soviet Russia" and is essential reading for all friends of Korea and for anti-imperialists everywhere!
