Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Thursday gave an order to promote the military ranks of commanding officers on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
According to the order, Kim Jong Gwan, Kim Myong Sik, Kim Kwang Hyok, Jong Kyong Thaek, O Il Jong and Kang Sun Nam were promoted to general and Choe Tu Yong, Kwon Thae Yong and Pak Su Il to colonel general. Choe Chun Gil, Ri Pong Chun, Kim Jong Chol, Kim Song Chol, Kim Song Gi, Yun Pyong Gwon, Kim Jin Chol, O Pyong Chol, Kim Jong Chol, Ri Ju Hong, Kim Yong Ho, O Song Il, Nam Ki Ho, Kim Won Chol, Ri Song Hun and Kim Pok Nam were promoted to lieutenant general and Kim Chang Guk, Pang Song Hwan, Kim Pong Ho, Kim Song Chan, Ri Hung Sok, Pak Myong Su, Nam Sung Jin, Kim Tong Gun, Yom Phil Song, Ri Tu Il, Choe Kang Ryol, Ri Song Chol, Chae Chang Nam, Ha Kyong Jun, Kim Hung Gyo, Choe Kwon Sik, Jon Yong Hak, Song In Chol, Jong Chol Nam, Kang Kye Jin, Sin Myong Ho, Ri Kwang Ho, Ji Yong Bok, Ri Chol Ho, Kim Ju Song, Ri Chon Yong, Nam Tong Il, Ryu Chol Nam, Om Won Nam, Choe Won Chol, Song Ki Jun, Won Chang Ho, Pak Jong Gil, Pak Kwang Chol, Kim Kum Chol, Om Myong Bin, Jang Song Ryong, Pak Thae Bok, Hwang Song Chol, Kim Jong Nam, Kim Tong Chol, Yu Song Chol, Hong Yong Chol, Song Won Chol, Kim Jong Song, Ri Won Ho, Kim Chun Myong, Pak Yong Chol, Sim Yong Bu, Pak Il Su, Pak Thae I, Kim Un Ho, Kim Chol Ung, Ho Jong Ho, Ri Song Ryol, Kim Myong Su, Choe Sung Chol, Ri Yong Chol, Kim Hyok Chol, Ri Yong Son, Kim Song Ho, Ri Man Gil, Kim Tae Yon, Pak Hyok, Paek Sok Chol, Pak Ryong Ju, Ryo Kwang Ryong, Yun Hyo Song, Kim Chan Bong and So Kang Chol to major general.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, in the order, expressed firm belief that all the commanding officers, the hard core of the armed forces of the DPRK, would fully discharge their duties in the honorable struggle to turn the revolutionary armed forces into the elite ones under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, remaining boundlessly loyal to the Party and the revolution. -0-
