Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's historic victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953) was a brilliant fruition of the Juche-oriented war tactics created by President Kim Il Sung.
During the war, the President set forth original military tactics suited to the topographical conditions of Korea, the Korean people's military equipment and the features of modern warfare, basing himself on the stand that any battle against the enemies should be done in Korean way.
Thanks to his Juche-based military ideas and ever-victorious war tactics, the Korean People's Army (KPA) won in the operations for liberating Seoul and Taejon, sank the enemy's heavy cruiser in the waters off Jumunjin only with four torpedo-boats and made signal achievements in the battles fought in the Chongchon River and Lake Jangjin and Chongjin, Hamhung and other areas.
Among the unique war tactics and methods created by the President were tunnel tactics which helped win a decisive victory in positional defence, an aircraft-hunting team movement which resulted in shooting down thousands of enemy planes, a tank-hunting team movement and actions by sniper-team, mobile battery and storming party.
All those war tactics and methods made it possible for the KPA to always hold the initiative in any fight against the enemy, thus providing a sure guarantee for the final victory in the war
After all, the KPA soldiers with the Juche-based military tactics could courageously conduct active operational combats and make great military achievements to win in the war. -0-
