Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Cuban Leaders

Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Thursday sent a message of greeting to Raul Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC), and Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, president of the Republic of Cuba.

The message extended warm felicitations and comradely greeting to the first secretary and the president of Cuba, the Cuban party, government and people on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the victory of the Cuban revolution.

Expressing pleasure over the fact that the fraternal Cuban people have firmly defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the priceless gains of the revolution under the leadership of the CPC despite all sorts of challenges by the hostile forces and their moves to stifle Cuba, the message expressed full support and solidarity with the Cuban party, government and people in their struggle.

Expressing the belief that the relations of friendship, unity and cooperation between the two parties and two countries forged in the common struggle for accomplishing the cause of socialism will grow stronger in the spirit of the agreement reached at the significant Pyongyang meeting in November, 2018, the message sincerely wished the first secretary and the president of Cuba good health and greater successes in their noble work for leading the Cuban revolution. -0-
