   The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the  British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula  issued the following statement congratulating respected Marshal KIM JONG UN on his election as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea;

Congratulations to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN on being elected as the General Secretary of the great Workers' Party of Korea , the top post of the Korean revolution !

 The election as general secretary of the Worker's Party of Korea (WPK) which is a powerful and meaningful demonstration of the single-hearted unity of the people around the Party and leader . It is also a a manifestation of the trust of the Korean people and members of the WPK and their support for and confidence in Marshal KIM JONG UN . It is a reflection of the unanimous will of the Korean people  to hold respected Marshal KIM JONG UN in high esteem.

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has achieved great successes in leading the Korean revolution and the building of Juche-based socialism . For example People's Korea has Zero Covid 19 . Last year when the country was affected by floods and typhoons , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN saw to it that new homes to replace the damaged ones were built as quickly as possible and given to people free of charge .Although the DPRK has faced the toughest ever and most brutal sanctions by the US led hostile forces has carried on with socialist construction .

  Moreover respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has firmly defended the independence of People's Korea by strengthening the revolutionary armed forces and turning the country into a socialist nuclear power of Juche . People's Korea is an iron fortress of socialism in the world . Marshal KIM JONG UN was able to also defend the independence of People's Korea at the negotiating table  and made no concession on the fundamental interests of the country .

   We are sure that with respected Marshal KIM JONG UN at the helm of the WPK there will be new and greater victories !
