On June 19th the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea , the UK Korean Friendship Association and Association for the Study of Songun Politics together with the Juche Idea Study Group of Ireland , Brazilian Centre for the Study of Songun Politics and Bangladesh Songun Politics Study Group held online meeting (via Facebook messenger) to mark the 56th anniversary of the start of work of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL at the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea and also to denounce the south Korean authorities hostile anti DPRK acts and support the DPRK's struggle . The meeting was participated by representatives from Britain , Ireland , Brazil and Bangladesh.The meeting began at 1500 hours
Dr Dermot Hudson opened the meeting saying that the anniversary of the start of work of comrade
KIM JONG IL at the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea(WPK) is a very important one because the WPK is the general staff of the Korean revolution.
Dr Hudson denounced the south Korean authorities for increasing tension on the Korean peninsula . He said south Korea had no honest intention but wanted to overthrow the socialist system in the DPRK. He said that the DPRK was quite right to blow up the Kaesong inter-Korean liaison office. Other participants denounced south Korea.
The representative of the Juche Idea Study Group of Ireland said that
The People and Korean Peoples Army will safeguard Juche Korea to the very end and they will hold their independence. Juche Korea does not need anyone as it's a self reliant country which stands up on it's own two feet! '

Dr Hudson spoke about the 56th anniversary of the start of work of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL at the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea , he said that ' Under the leadership of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL the Juche revolutionary cause, started by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG was brilliantly carried forward.He built up the WPK powerfully as a monolithic party based on the Juche idea, the idea of comrade KIM IL SUNG .He achieved complete oneness and unity of the party. Comrade KIM JONG IL resolutely smashed the anti party counter- revolutionary factionalists who attempted to undermine the party's unity and blot out the proud revolutionary traditions of the Workers Party of Korea.The cancers of revisionism , opportunism and other alien ideologies were not allowed to penetrate into the WPK'
A representative of the Juche Idea Study Group of Ireland said that 'From the moment Chairman KIM JONG IL started his career at the CC WPK he was dedicated to the very end to Korea and to the people whom he served.'
A representative of the Brazilian Centre for the Study of Songun Politics read out the speech of their chairman which said in part '
The Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics once again thanks the opportunity to be present at a new meeting of internationalist comrades fighting in their countries for the authentic and national Revolution for socialism.
The reason for our meeting today is the 56th anniversary of the beginning of the activities of the respected General KIM JONG IL in the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. That date has great historical and political significance not only for the Korean people but also for all the peoples of the world."
Shaun Pickford secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and chairman of Staffordshire KFA said that comrade KIM JONG IL guided the WPK to build socialism with credit . He recalled his experiences of the celebrations of June 19th whilst visiting the DPRK in 2015.
M Janganhir Khan of the Bangladesh Songun Politics Study Group brought greetings to meeting from Bangladesh and praised the Songun idea and Juche idea .
Dr Dermot Hudson spoke about the anniversary of the work "On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction' saying that " What very deeply impressed me reading the work was the determination of comrade KIM JONG IL to stick to the great road of Juche no matter what , to preserve the Juche character and national character in the revolution and construction .'
Participants in the meeting denounced globalisation and the wiping out of national cultures.
Dr Hudson also praised the work "Giving Priority to Ideological Work Is Essential for Accomplishing Socialism" saying that ' Although the work was published some 23 years ago it is as relevant now as when it was published as it gives absolutely correct answers to the question of ideological work under socialism and shows the way to build socialism in confrontation with imperialism.'

Shaun Pickford said that the DPRK had successfully built socialism by giving priority to ideological work unlike some socialist countries which had degenerated into revisionism.
The participants supported the action of the DPRK and adopted a solidarity resolution.
